A special counselling and awareness session was conducted at APS Tijara by Ms. Preeti Rathod, CID Incharge of Khairthal-Tijara, for girls of Classes 6 to 12. The session focused on the ill effects and misuse of social media, aiming to promote safe and responsible digital behavior among students.
She explained how unsafe online activities can lead to serious issues such as cyberbullying, loss of privacy, fake friendships, and mental stress. Students were cautioned against sharing personal information, photos, or sensitive details online and were advised to immediately report any suspicious or uncomfortable activities.
Ms. Rathod emphasized the importance of maintaining open communication with parents, respecting them, and not hiding anything related to online interactions. She also encouraged students to limit screen time and think carefully before posting or sharing anything on digital platforms.
The session inspired students to remain alert, responsible, and confident while navigating the online world, ensuring their safety, well-being, and digital awareness.
